Our 138-bed facility offers easy access to a wide range of inpatient behavioral health care and day treatment programs for children, teens, adults, and seniors, in addition to a substance use disorder intensive outpatient program for adults.
Walk-ins are always welcome, and we are available 24/7 to provide a no-cost mental health/substance use assessment. Please call us at 302-996-5480 for additional details about our programs.
Services
We offer a spectrum of services for adults in need of mental health care. Our inpatient program for adults treats acute psychiatric and behavioral symptoms but also features a specialized track for adults struggling with substance use disorders. We also offer day treatment at our outpatient facility, Rockford at the Orchards.
Rockford Center offers inpatient and outpatient care for children age 4 to 12. Our programs help children and their families to clarify problems and issues, opening the pathway for personal growth and family stability. Inpatient care can help stabilize acute mental and behavioral health issues, while our Day Treatment Program can offer care with the flexibility of returning home each evening.
Our inpatient and outpatient programs for girls and boys age 13 to 17 help strengthen self-confidence in a structured environment that promotes skill building and personal growth. Inpatient care can help stabilize acute mental and behavioral health issues, while our Day Treatment Program can offer care with the flexibility of returning home each night.
Rockford Center’s Older Adult Inpatient Program offers a secure, therapeutic environment for adults age 65 and older to restore their mental wellness under the care of staff trained in geriatric care. This program provides seniors with the respectful, dignified mental health care they need in a space where they can share their experiences and feelings with their peers.
The Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Rockford Center is an evidence-based outpatient program at our outpatient clinic, Rockford at the Orchards, designed to provide adults age 18 to 65 with comprehensive substance abuse care with the flexibility of a day program. Our program also treats underlying and co-occurring disorders that might cause or exacerbate substance abuse, like trauma, depression or PTSD.
Patients who need support in transitioning from inpatient psychiatric care or require more intensive services than those offered in traditional outpatient therapy will benefit from Rockford Center’s Day Treatment Programs, tailored differently for adults, teens, and kids to ensure that activities and therapies reflect the specific needs.
